Terms and conditions
The agreement between you and FakerForge when you use the website, app, API, MCP server, or CLI.

Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using FakerForge, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you use FakerForge for an organisation, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf.
Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your password and API tokens private.
- You're responsible for activity under your account and tokens.
- Tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
Plans and billing
- The free plan and paid plans include the limits shown on the pricing page.
- Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you choose and are processed by our payment providers.
- Usage resets each billing period. Unused usage doesn't carry over.
- We may change prices or limits. Changes apply from your next billing period, and we'll tell you beforehand.
Your content and generated data
You keep ownership of the schemas, configuration, and mock definitions you provide, and of the data FakerForge generates for you. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service.
Generated data is synthetic. It may by chance resemble real people, companies, or values, and it is not guaranteed to be accurate or fit for any purpose other than development and testing.
Acceptable use
Don't use FakerForge to:
- Upload real personal data, credentials, or other information you aren't allowed to share.
- Impersonate real people or create data intended to deceive, defraud, or harass.
- Attack, overload, or reverse engineer the service, or get around plan limits.
- Break any law or anyone else's rights.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules, with notice where we reasonably can.
Mock APIs and integrations
Mock endpoint URLs are public to anyone who has them. Don't put secrets in mock responses. You can regenerate a mock's URL at any time to revoke the old one.
Availability and changes
We work to keep FakerForge available and improving, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change, or remove features. If we remove something significant from a paid plan, we'll tell you first.
Cancelling and closing accounts
You can cancel a subscription or delete your account at any time from Settings. Cancelling stops future charges; access continues until the end of the period you've paid for.
Disclaimers and liability
FakerForge is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or profit. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We'll update the date above when these terms change. For significant changes, we'll notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use FakerForge after a change means you accept the updated terms.
